Obituary

William Robert Sarver of Denton, MD, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at the Caroline Nursing and Rehab Center, he was 85.  Mr. Sarver was born in Bluefield, West Virginia, to the late, John Aubrey Sarver and Edna Sisk.

Mr. Sarver served his country proudly in the United States Navy.  Mr. Sarver worked as a mechanic for Reichhold Chemicals until his retirement.  One of his favorite activities was playing golf, and he loved nothing more then being on the golf course.  At home, he liked to relax by watching the Game Show Network on TV, and he enjoyed a good cup of coffee.  Above all, he truly loved his family, and cared for them very much.  He will be truly missed.

Mr. Sarver was a member of the Burrsville Ruritan Club, and enjoyed participating in the club.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Dona Sarver; siblings, Lil Thompson, Betty Farmer, Joyce Wagner; grandsons, Donald Gray Jr. and Kevin Gray; and son in law, Donald Gray Sr..

He is survived by his daughter, Terry Gray (Todd Collison); sons, Anthony Sarver Sr. (Sharon), Tim Sarver (Cyndi); siblings, Millie Whitt, Barry Sarver; grandchildren, Brandi Phillips, Tony Sarver Jr., Keely Karsenty, Katie Wilcox, Cortney Sarver, Amanda Vespremi; and 6 great grandchildren.

Services for Mr. Sarver will be private and at the convenience of the family.
