Sharon Lee Yoder

Sharon Lee Yoder, Greenwood, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 1, 2023, at her home surrounded by family, she was 71.  Sharon was born in Oakland, CA to the late, Allen and Margaret Megee.

Sharon worked various jobs over the years, but was mainly a homemaker.  Her life was her children and grandchildren, and she made sure to participate in all their school activities, cheerleading, sports, games, etc.  Sharon loved shopping, paint nights, and watching her "stories" especially the Bold and Beautiful and The Young and Restless.  She also enjoyed watching HGTV, and NASCAR, Dale Jr. was her favorite driver.  She enjoyed going on trips, and liked going camping with Jerry and Peanut, and also like spending time with her best friends, Bonnie, Hester, and Leah.  In her younger days, she loved to watch her father in law, Ivan Yoder race horses at various tracks.  Sharon knew a lot of people and was liked by all.  Her caring and bubbly personality will be cherished and greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Megee.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jerry Yoder; sons, Kevin (Becky) Yoder, Troy (Andrea) Yoder; daughter, Crystal (Katie) Collier; brothers, Stevie Megee, Gary Megee; half brothers, Robin Robertson, Louis Taylor; sister in law, Cindy Megee; grandchildren, Kimberly King, Brayden Ostan, Andrew Yoder, Kassidy Ostan, Kayla Ostan, Taylor Yoder, Katie St. Clair, Oliver St. Clair, Clayton St. Clair, Tyler St. Clair, Trey Yoder, Tyler Yoder, Brooke Jerman, Corey Betts, Caleb Jerman; 4 great grandchildren, and her constant dog companion, Peanut.

A memorial service for Sharon, will be on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, DE, at 12 noon.  A public visitation will be held starting at 11 AM.
