Robert A. Papillo Sr.

Robert Anthony Papillo Sr., Hartly, DE, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 9, 2022, at his home surrounded by family, he was 55.  Robert was born in Dover, DE to Michael and Elizabeth Papillo.
 
Robert was a self employed custom carpenter.  He loved working for Burke Equipment and they treated him like family.  When he was not hard at work, he enjoyed being in nature, fishing and kayaking.  He also loved nothing more then to be at home.  He loved being surrounded by family and especially his grandchildren.  He will be remembered as a loving father, husband, and grandfather.  He loved his family dearly, and would do anything for them.  He also loved his many dogs and spending time with them.  
 
He is preceded in death by his father; step father, Anthony Marino; step son, Jeffrey Cutright; siblings, Michael Papillo, Toni Seward, Debbie Marker; and his beloved dog, Seymor.
 
In addition to his mother, Robert is survived by his loving wife, Diedra "Dee" Papillo; son, Robert A. (Courtney) Papillo Jr.;  stepchildren, Steven Cutright, Tanya Mann; daughter in law, Molly Dobos; brother, Nick (Missy) Papillo; 8 grandchildren: Carissa, Kayla, Christopher, Kara, Ryan, Emma, Rylee, and Jude; beloved dogs, Bella, Hazel, Cletus, Charlie, Puppy.
 
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at the Hollywood Cemetery, Milford-Harrington Hwy., Harrington, at 1PM.  
 
In Lieu of flowers, the family would love donations to be made in his name to the Kent County SPCA.
