Nancy Ann Blankenship, Farmington, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, she was 82. She was born in Williamson, WV, to the late, Parker and Melissa Evans.
Mrs. Blankenship was a homemaker and also worked on the family farm, alongside her husband, raising chickens.
Mrs. Blankenship loved to work in her flower gardens, and planting new trees in her yard. She was an excellent cook and never turned anyone away from her table. She was deeply religious and prayed day and night. She was never ashamed to tell someone that she would be praying for them. She liked to collect angels and loved her parrot, "Spikey". She loved all animals and never hesitated to feed any stray that landed on her doorstep. She would always say that if you would take care of an animal, you would take care of a human. She never met a stranger, and everyone that met her loved her. She was always sweet and kind to everyone and would never find a fault with anyone, but always saw the good. She will be deeply missed.
Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Wade W. Blankenship Sr., son, Larry Blankenship; her brothers, Abraham Rayburn and Mathias; her sisters, Mary, Wilsey Faye, Pearl, Frances, and Becky.
