John C. Hobbs Jr.

John C. Hobbs Jr., of Felton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at his home, and leaves behind his cherished family and best friend Roman Junior.  He was born in Dover, DE to the late, Margaret Jane and John "Jack" Clifton Hobbs Sr.  He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Arnesta June Hobbs, his two sons, Vincent "Vinnie" Earl McCracken, John Allen Hobbs, a grandson, Elbin "Baby Jake" Noble Finkbiner, and a brother in law, Jeff Weber.

John leaves behind his children, Gwenda Spence (Danny) of Felton, John Hobbs III (Shannon) of West Virginia, Elbin "Jake" Finkbiner of Woodside, Melanie Pardee (Edward Lloyd) of Alabama, Amanda Hobbs (Joseph Buhler) of Felton; sister, Connie Elks of Felton; brother, Ronnie Hobbs (Lois Hobbs) of Frederica; sister, Bonnie Sheers of Pennsylvania; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and also many friends.

John was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and a great friend to many others.  John enjoyed working on cars, enjoyed riding his motorcycle especially to Ocean City, playing guitar, fishing, and being there to lend a helping hand to whoever needed him.  John will be dearly missed by so many and he truly touched the hearts of everyone he crossed paths with.  Gone but never forgotten!
