George Langford Jr. Obituary

George "G.B." Langford, Jr, of Harrington, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2018 at Bayhealth – Milford Memorial Hospital, he was 61.  He was the son of Lois “Dink” Langford and the late, George Langford Sr.

George proudly served and retired from the United States Air Force as a sergeant.    

After his time in the military, George spent his time as a truck driver working for various companies including KJM and Schiff Farms.  At the beginning of his truck driving career, he would drive coast to coast.  Before his wife Sandi passed away, they owned and operated a catering and cake business known as, Sandy and G.B.’s House of Cakes.

In his spare time, George enjoyed watching Nascar and football, especially Ohio State College.  He also enjoyed raising Dalmatians, his favorite being Scooby Doo.  He was a jokester who was known for his sense of humor. He was a good father who loved his family deeply.

George was a dedicated member of Station 47, Farmington Fire Company.  He was also a member of the Harrington American Legion.

In addition to his father, George is preceded by his wife, Sandi Langford and sister, Karla Langford,  

In addition to his mother, George is survived by his daughters, Karla Bales and Bobbie Langford; brother, Mark Langford and 9 grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at Hollywood Cemetery, Milford –Harrington Hwy, Harrington on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 1 pm.                .
