Carlos K. Bean

Carlos K. Bean, of Harrington, passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, from his home, surrounded by the ones he loved, he was 77.  Mr. Bean was born in Wolf Creek, TN to his parents, the late, Bruce and Geneva Bean.

Mr. Bean was a 1959 graduate of Milford High School.  He was a self employed house painter for most of his life.   In his younger years, he loved coon hunting.  One of his favorite activities was traveling with his wife and their friends and going camping.  He loved antique cars and loved to tinker on them.

He loved his family greatly, and especially enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He will be sorely missed.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Easther Knight, Dorothy Coombs, Douglas Beene, Dennis Beene, Hilda Stewart, and Betty Cagle.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Sharon Bean, son, Jack (Holly) Bean; daughter, Sandy (Roy) Melvin; stepson, Jeff (Merry) Beene; mother-in-law, Betty Hopkins; brothers, Jim (Robin) Beene, Bobby Beene, Bruce Beene; 3 grandchildren, Brian Reynolds, Brad (Ashley) Reynolds, Sara (Brandon) White; 2 great grandchildren, Jordyn and Beau Reynolds.

The family would like to send a thank you to Compassionate Care Hospice for their care and attention they displayed during this difficult time and a special thank you to Nurse Mark.

A Memorial Service will take place at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at 3 PM, with a visitation for family and friends, one hour prior to the service.
