Carl R. Buck, Jr.

Carl R. Buck, Jr., Marydel, passed on Oct. 9, 2023 at the Milford Center, at the age of 58.  He is the son of Carl R. Buck, Sr. and the late Doris Clegg.

Carl was a hard-working general contractor. He was a member of the Harrington Moose Lodge, Willow Run Community Center, Marydel Fire Police, and Harvey’s Hunters. In the summers, Carl managed the parking lots and shuttles for the Delaware State Fair.

Aside from his family, Carl’s main loves were to go hunting, fishing, and camping.  He enjoyed going on cruises, playing video games, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with friends and family. He was very close with his family in Pennsylvania. Carl was a quiet, stoic man with a goofy side who liked to have fun and laugh, he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Carl is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Malora Buck; siblings, Bryan Buck, Carla Buck, Charles Clegg (Teresa), Richard Clegg (Shelly), and Scott Clegg; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Funeral Service will be held on October 16, 2023 at the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home, Inc. 15522 S. DuPont Hwy, Harrington, at 11 AM.  A visitation will take place one hour prior starting at 10 AM.  An internment will immediately follow the service at Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.
