Bonnie S. Mohr, of Greenwood, passed away at home, on Thursday, March 25, 2021, at the age of 59. She was the daughter of the late John and Beatrice Carter.
Bonnie graduated from Lake Forest High School in 1979. A nurturer by nature, she ran her home day care for 20 years.
Bonnie loved to sing Loretta Lynn, was friendly with everyone, and never met a person she didn’t like. She had a deep love for her family and friends. Bonnie’s grandchildren were her world.
In addition to her parents, Bonnie is preceded in death by her grandmother, Betty Creed.
Bonnie is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, William Mohr Jr.; children, Jennifer Cleveland (James), Rebecca Tucker (Kennith), William Mohr III (Ashley), Christina Mohr (Tom), and Carolyn Copeland (Maxwell); brothers, Jimmy Carter, John Carter (Donna Faye), Richard Carter (Debbie); sister, Rosemary Zimmerman (Frank); and 18 grandchildren, Nicholas, Ava, Abby, Bella, Bailey, Nathan, Jason, Emma, John, Summer, Kennidy, Alexis, London, Brylee, Kinsley, William IV, Alex, and Jacklyn.
Services will take place at the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy, Harrington, on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 6 PM. A visitation for family and friends will take place at the funeral home from 4 -6 PM. Interment will take place privately at a later date.
