Anthony "Tony" Russo, Harrington, 90, passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 13, 2022. Mr. Russo was born in New Brunswick, NJ to the late Joseph and Mary Russo.
Mr. Russo served his country proudly in the United States Army, as a Corporal in the Korean Conflict. He worked various jobs over the years, most recently as a bus driver for disabled adults with the State of Delaware. He was also a lifelong musician who enjoyed playing the guitar and accordian; in the past he played locally in the Milford Community Band. At one time, he used to teach music, and even had his own music store.
Besides music, his greatest passion in life was his wife, Suzanne. They did everything together and he loved her completely. Hobbies included playing golf, bowling on a league, and billiards. Mr. Russo was a loving husband, father, and a real man of character. He was always ready with a joke, and had a fantastic sense of humor. He will be remembered as a good man whose loving and generous nature will forever be missed.
In addition to his parents, brothers, sisters, and son, James Turner, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Suzanne, who passed just minutes before he did.
He is survived by his sons, Anthony (Amy) Russo, Joe (Barbara) Turner; daugher, Lee Turner; step daughters, Christine Hulick, Ashli Tortorello; and numerous grandchildren.
A Graveside Service for Mr. Russo will be on Friday, November 18, 2022, at the Delaware Veterans Cemetery South Chapel, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966 at 10AM.
