FELTON — Werner Grabner passed away at home surrounded by his family.  He was the son of the late, Ferdinand and Hedwig Grabner.

Werner was proud to have served in the U.S. Navy where he had the privilege of driving for an Admiral.

Werner was a retired electrician who worked with the Union IBEW 26 out of Washington, DC.  He was a member of the Concord Club, serving as President for 30 years, and a member of the Schuhplattlers Club where he served as President for five years.

Werner loved horses, dogs, boating, and hot rod cars, his favorite was a 1939 Cadillac Hearse. He enjoyed sitting outside watching people go by.  Werner’s biggest enjoyment was traveling cross country from the Atlantic Ocean  to the Pacific Ocean with his family. He loved working with his hands, was mechanically inclined, often working on his own cars, and liked to keep busy. Werner was a generous person and enjoyed helping other people.

In addition to his parents, Werner was preceded in death by his brothers, Freddie and Gregory Grabner.

Werner is survived by his loving wife, Caroline Grabner; son, Charles Grabner; daughters, Mary Fowler and Arline Grabner; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be held privately by the family at their discretion.  Donations can be made in honor of Werner to: Vitas Hospice Care, http:// vitascommunityconnection.org/community-connection/donate; National Foundation for Cancer Research or to the charity of your choice.
