Wanita Hazel (Thomas) "Nita" Stover, age 95 years, passed away on August 2, 2024, from the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital of Philadelphia.  She resided at the Breakwater Village in Lewes, DE at the time.  Nita was born in Yolyn, Logan County, West Virginia, on January 12, 1929.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Rev. Glen E. Stover.  She is also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Carolyn Marie Stover and Ranee Elizabeth Stover.

She is survived by four children, Glenn H. (Kathy) Stover, Gene E. (Joan) Stover, Rev. Larry P. (Janet) Stover, and Linda (Stover) Jeffery.  She is also survived by 11 grand children, many great grand and great great grandchildren.

"Nita" was a many talented Pastors wife and had a special love for children of all ages.  She was also a cake decorator, flower arranger, public speaker, and instructor in many crafts.  She did cooking demonstrations for television.  She had a gift for taking the ordinary and making it into something artistic.

A Funeral Service will be on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at the Newcomer Farley Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, Ohio, at 11 AM.  Interment will follow at the Gandview Memorial Park, 5400 Lakewood Road, in Ravenna, Ohio.
