Tina M. Straw

Tina M. Straw of Milford, DE, daughter of the late Bruce and Helen Straw, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016, in Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. She was 55  years old.

Ms. Straw was a 1979 graduate of Lake Forest High School.  For the last five years she has worked for Royal Farms in Milford and prior to that was employed by Chick's in Harrington.

Tina loved to ride motorcycles, particularly rides with the Free Riders Motorcycle Club-Delaware Eastern Shore Chapter with her best friend, and doing things with the ladies of the club.

She enjoyed baking, sewing, needlepoint, and was fond of  the Winnie the Pooh characters Eeyore and Piglet, and the Looney Toons character, Taz .  A bubbly and content person, Tina loved everybody, and gave the best hugs filled with unconditional love.  She especially enjoyed when her family got together, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Besides her parents, Tina was preceded in death by her sister Esther Kendall.

She is survived by her best friend and partner in life, Phillip Rodbell of Milford; son, Thomas Lankford, Jr.; daughter, Helen (Patrick) Countryman; grandchildren, Patrick and Ayden Countryman; sisters, Marla Thompson and Kayla (Ivan) Hall; brothers, Bruce (Patti) Straw Jr.  and Donald (Mary) Straw; and numerous nieces and nephews.
