Terry L. Vincent

Terry L. “Stretch” Vincent of Harrington passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at the Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, he was 72. Stretch was born in Wilmington, DE to the late Robert H. and Laura Mae Vincent.

Stretch, as he was affectionately called, was a forklift operator with Nanticoke Homes of Greenwood, and most recently for All-Span Inc. of Bridgeville. In his younger days, Stretch enjoyed hunting deer and riding around the countryside deer spotting and looking at nature. One of his favorite activities was golfing and watching NASCAR. He also liked to go saltwater fishing when the chance arose. Most recently, Stretch was enjoying the birth of his newest great granddaughter, whom he loved to spoil and call his little buddy.

Stretch was mainly a homebody but was very active in the Harrington American Legion, something he thoroughly enjoyed. He was easy going but could be as stubborn as a mule too. He will be sadly missed.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings, Louise Wix, Beverley Vincent, and Rick Vincent.

He is survived by his sons, Terry Walls (Chrystal), Michael Walls; siblings, Tammy Davis, Tracey Davis, Tim Davis; 10 grandchildren, Leslie, Catera, Joshua, Christopher, Zachary, Matthew, Codi, Mikey, Logan and Joseph; 3 great grandchildren, and close friend of over 50 years, Rick Wheatley.

There will be a time to celebrate Stretch’s life at the Harrington American Legion, 17448 S Dupont Hwy, Harrington, DE 19952, on Friday, June 19th, between 6:30 and 8:30 PM.
