Tammy Lee Butler

Tammy Lee Butler, of Dover, passed away at her home, on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at the age of 46.  She was the daughter of David V. and Libby Butler.

Tammy worked as an auditor with DelDOT.  She was a member of the Harrington Moose Lodge and American Poolplayers Association.

Tammy was a bubbly person who loved life, spending time with family and friends, and entertaining.  She was independent, liked to haggle prices when shopping, and playing pool.  Tammy was an avid NY Giants fan. She dearly loved her daughters and her family.

Tammy is preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Kemp Jr., and her brother, Matthew D. Butler.

In addition to her parents, Tammy is survived by her daughters, Allison M. Jones and Rebecca Q. Lee; sister in law Gina Butler; 2 nieces, McKenzie and Bethany, 1 nephew, Ezra; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Melvin Funeral Home to help defray funeral costs.

Services for Tammy will be Thursday, June 10, 2021, at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy, Harrington, at 12 PM.  A visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to service.
