Suzanne Russo

Suzanne Russo, 77, of Harrington, passed away at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital, on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2022, with her family by her side.  She was the daughter of the late, Nellie and Arthur DeVane.

Suzanne retired at the end of December 2021, from the State of Delaware Social Services, after twenty- five years of service.

Suzanne lived simply, she did not ask for much or need much.  She liked going to the casino, the beach, lighthouses, and loved rock n roll music.  Suzanne was known as an excellent listener with a generous and compassionate heart, who was always willing to help others.  Suzanne adored her granddaughter, Ella and was deeply devoted to her husband, Tony.   They did everything together and he was her life.  She loved her family deeply, and enjoyed visiting them.

Suzanne's world was her husband, Anthony Russo, who passed away shortly after her.

Suzanne is survived by her children, Christine Hulick (Eddy Pontarelli) and Ashli Tortorello (Anthony), Anthony Russo (Amy), Joe Russo, and Lee Russo; granddaughter, Ella Tortorello; brother, Michael DeVane (Akane); sister, Arlene Eberman (Mike); and a large extended family.

A Graveside Service for Suzanne will be on Friday, November 18, 2022, at the Delaware Veterans Cemetery South Chapel, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966 at 10AM.
