Samantha J Hudran

Samantha Jean “Sam” Hudran, 50 of Harrington passed away at Bayhealth-Kent Campus on Thursday, October 23, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late, Edward and Jean Smith.

Sam was the Counseling Services Manager for the SARC Program at the YWCA Delaware. She was very involved in the extracurricular activities her kids were involved in, including helping coach their Odyssey of Mind teams to spots in the World Finals. She loved horses and cats, camping, shopping, cooking, and watching cooking shows on tv. Sam was funny, sassy, and found great joy in helping others. When she needed to de-stress, she enjoyed nothing more than driving around with the top down in her car, or on her motorcycle feeling the wind in her hair and blasting music. She was very full of life, a good friend to many, and will be greatly missed.

Sam is survived by her loving husband, Willliam “Bill” Hudran III; children William Hudran, IV (Angel Reynoso), Olexa “Lexi” Hudran, Andrew “AJ” Hudran; sister, Sarah Spradlin (Nakoa); and nieces, Alex, Adrie, and Amrilyn.

A viewing for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 5-7 pm at the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home, 15522 S. DuPont Hwy. Harrington, DE 19952
