Ruth P. Wilson

Ruth P. Wilson, Houston, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 21, 2023, from her home, she was 96.

Mrs. Wilson worked various jobs over the years, and worked alongside her late husband with his horses, but she was mainly a homemaker. She grew up and spent a lot of her early years working on a farm, raising chickens and working with horses.

Mrs. Wilson truly loved her family. She enjoyed going out to eat with her family, and trying new "spicy" drinks. She had a special love for her dogs, and enjoyed watching horse racing. She will be remembered as a very quiet person who was soft spoken, sweet natured, and always thinking of her family. She will be sorely missed.

Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Houston United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband, Elmer M. Wilson, she is preceded in death by a sister, Francis Frazier.

She is survived by her daughter, Holly Ventura (Joseph III); and grandson, Joseph Ventura IV (Morgan).

A graveside service for Mrs. Wilson will be at 11 AM, on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at the Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.
