Ruth B. Mervine

Ruth B. Mervine, known as “Tootie” or “Aunt Ruth” by many, went Home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 16, 2013, from her home.  She was 94.  Mrs. Mervine was born in Tyler, PA to the late John Wright and Lulu Belle Thomas Sr.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William Harold Mervine Jr.; sisters, Grace Mando, Bernice Washkow; and a brother, John Thomas Jr.

She is survived by her sisters, Martha Morelli of Greenwood, Pearl Sandoval of Hickory, NC; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will take place on Friday, December 20, 2013, at 11 AM at the  St. Johnstown Cemetery, Greenwood.

In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to: Promise Land Building Fund, c/o Calvary Wesleyan Church, 240 Delaware Avenue, Harrington, DE 19952.
