Ruth Ann Maloney, of Houston, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, from her home. She was 81. She was born to the late Emily and Alexander Argo Jr.
Mrs. Maloney was a homemaker and also part owner of the Houston Oil Company until retiring in 2002. She was a member of the Calvary Wesleyan Church and attended regularly until she was no longer able to. Her favorite hobbies included reading, puzzle word books, crochet, crafts, and watching her family’s goats. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially talking to her grandchildren and being a part of their lives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll “Teeny” Maloney, and brothers, Alexander Argo III and James B. Argo.
She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Timothy and Kelley Maloney of Houston; daughter and son in laws, Barbara and Qamar Maqbool of Georgetown, and Marlene and David Baldwin of Richmond, VA; and 5 grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday, June 30, 2012, at 11 AM, at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.
