Russell N. Cornwell, of Harrington, DE, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2014, from his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 64. Mr. Cornwell was born to the late Russell Charles and Julia Cornwell.
Mr. Cornwell worked as a glass glazier for over 40 years for the Seidman Glass Company in Baltimore, MD. He was a member of the Glaziers Local Union 252 of Philadelphia. When he was not hard at work, Mr. Cornwell enjoyed putting together his model cars. He loved putting together classic car models which he had done since he was a young boy, and he has saved every single car that he ever built. Fishing was another favorite pastime of his, as well as watching old western movies with his dog Simba.
Mr. Cornwell was a family man that loved his family and grandchildren tremendously. He will be truly missed.
He is s urvived by his loving wife, Pamela E. Cornwell of Harrington, sons, Russell Brian (Trina) Cornwell of Myrtle Beach, SC, Sean Nicholas Cornwell of Harrington; daughters, Danielle N. Cornwell of Harrington; sister, Linda (Ersel) Alley of Downs Chapel, DE; 2 grandchildren, and a special Pop pop to Jahquille Goode.
Memorial Service will be Monday, March 10, 2014, at 1 PM, at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Melvin Funeral Home to help with expenses.
