HARRINGTON — Russell Lee Betts passed away on Monday, May 13, 2013 at home, surrounded by his family.
Russell worked for many years at the local Hi-Grade as a maintenance man. He thoroughly enjoyed his job and looked forward to working every day.
His favorite activities included watching TV and playing board games. Russell attended the Asbury United Methodist Church of Harrington. He was a lifetime member of the Harrington Fire Company. He will be greatly missed.
Russell is preceded in death by his father, Layton Russell Betts.
He is survived by his mother, Thelma Betts of Harrington; brother, Roger Allen Betts (Barbara) of Bear; sister, Carol Lynn Betts of Harrington; three nephews, Jason (Nina), Kevin (Christi), and Matthew; and two great nieces, Savannah Marie and Emma Caroline.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 3 p.m. at the Asbury United Methodist Church, 200 Weiner Ave., Harrington, DE. Interment will be private.
