Ronald E. (Sr.) Havelow

d. November 3, 2024

Ronald E. Havelow Sr., Lincoln, passed away at his home on Sunday, November 3, 2024, he was 63 years old.  Ronald was born in Milford to the late, Emily Ann and Robert V. Havelow.

Ronald was a long-time forklift operator for 84 Lumber of Milford.  He was also a small engine mechanic who enjoyed fixing lawn mowers or anything mechanical, and could fix anything he was tasked to.

Ronald was a diehard Elvis fan. He had his own Elvis Shrine in his home and enjoyed singing Elvis tunes whenever the opportunity arose.  He enjoyed watching NASCAR. His favorite driver was Richard Petty.  Fishing was a favorite hobby, and he drowned more than a few worms at the local ponds.  A funny family memory of Ronald was the way he liked to eat his hot dogs.  They had to be boiled until they split and could only be served with Heinz ketchup and no other brand.  He had a thing for his hair too and it always had to be just right.  Ronald had a loving companionship with both of his dogs, Baby Girl and Mr. Bud. Ronald will be remembered for his easy going and laid-back nature.  He was always straight forward but a true sweetheart.  He liked to tell a joke or two although most likely they were slightly inappropriate, but his laugh always made you laugh. He will be sadly missed.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Ronald E. Havelow Jr.

He is survived by his children and their spouses, Jessica R. Allen (Ronny McCoy), Raymond E. Willey Jr. (Danielle), L. Renae Havelow (Michael Silves), Ryan N. Havelow (Clarissa); siblings, Kathy Conaway (Jack), Richard Havelow (Joann), Robin Havelow (Joanna), Lisa Havelow (Toby), Randy Havelow (April), Linda Miller (Pat); grandchildren, Savannah Willey, Chace Allen, Madeline Allen, Kaleb Silves, Landon Willey, Daegon Willey, Tenlee Silves, Cayden Havelow, Kennedy Willey, McKinley Willey, Miles Havelow, Leo Havelow; great grandchildren, Serena Willey, Lily Willey, Mila Serrao, Athena Allen.
