HARRINGTON - Robin M. Isham of Harrington passed away on Monday, October 28, 2013 at home. She was 58. Born to the late Anna and Skinner Taylor H. Leonard.
Mrs. Isham served her country proudly in the United States Air Force, after graduating from St. Michaels High School. She worked for the State of Delaware for over 25 years in the Financial Office as an accountant. Mrs. Isham loved to go to car shows, go on cruises, skip jack boat races, sci-fi thrillers, and time with her family. She loved family dinners and spoiling her grandchildren.
Mrs. Isham will be remembered as an easy going and friendly person but was known to have a stubborn side. She was known as a fighter to the end. She stayed strong through her long bought with cancer that started in 2004. She fought the good fight, and remained brave throughout her entire ordeal, and never gave up. She will be remembered as a good mother, sister, and friend.
She is survived by son and daughter in law, Duane T. and Annette Isham of Milford; daughter, Teresa A. Ridgeway of Harrington; brother and sister in law, David T. and Sandy Leonard of Preston, Md.; sister and brother in laws, Emily C. and Fred Horne of Seaford, Mary Katherine and Wayne Adams of Hurlock, Md.; grandchildren, Ella Victoria Ridgeway, Leila Brianne Ridgeway, Kaitlyn Michelle Ridgeway, and Kamryn Angelina Ridgeway; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11 a.m., Friday, November 1, 2013 at Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Tilghman Island Methodist Church Cemetery.
