Robert C Tlasek

Robert C. Tlasek, of Harrington, passed away on July 27, 2024 at home with his family, at the age of 84. He was the son of the late Edmund and Frances Tlasek.

Robert was a quiet man who after graduating from college started working for an accounting firm and later opened his own accounting firm, RCT Accounting. He was a member of the Harrington American Legion CKRT Post 7, at one time holding the position of Financial Officer.

Robert enjoyed fishing, skiing, and going out for pizza with his daughter, Sarah.  A private man, he enjoyed spending time with his friends.  In his younger years, Robert enjoyed taking Sarah on roller coasters and going on adventures.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Tlasek; daughter, Sarah Tlasek; step children, Linette, David, and Stacey; 8 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren and extended family and friends.

Interment will be at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery Sussex County, 2669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, on August 6, 2024 at 11 AM.

A celebration of life service will be held at the American Legion Post #7, 17448 S Dupont Hwy, Harrington, DE on August 6, 2024 at 1 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert’s name can be made to the American Legion Post #7 Harrington, DE and Delaware Hospice.

Arrangements are by the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home Inc, Harrington.
