Robert "Bobby" Rosser, Jr.

Robert “Bobby” Rosser, Jr., Felton, peacefully passed on Jan. 23, 2024 at home with his wife by his side, at the age of 71.  He is the son of the late Pearl Hutson and Robert Rosser, Sr. Bobby proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.  He was a member of the American Legion CKRT Post #7 and the Harrington Moose Lodge #534.  Bobby worked in the roofing and siding business for many years.

Bobby enjoyed being outside, hunting, tinkering in the garage, cutting grass, or tending his garden.  He was an easy going, ornery man who enjoyed watching Westerns on TV.  Bobby will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Bobby is preceded in death by his sister, Lynn White.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Jane Rosser; son, Robert “Rob” Rosser, III (Melanie); daughter, Tina M. Donovan; grandchildren, Taylor Rosser, Robert Rosser IV, Braydon Donovan, Colton Donovan, Amanda Potter, and Amber Potter; sisters, Christal Cannon (George), Dorothy Seeney, Teresa Carter, and Liz Rosser-Buchanan; nieces, nephews, in-laws and many, many extended family members and friends.

A funeral Service will be on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at 1 PM, at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, DE, with a visitation for family and friends starting at 12 Noon.  Interment will take place at the Hopkins Cemetery, Felton.
