Regina C. Brown

Regina C. Brown, HARRINGTON, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2020 at the Harbor Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Lewes, she was 89. She was born in Milton, DE to the late John Carpenter and Blanche Carpenter-Mitchell.

Mrs. Brown was a homemaker who took lovingly care of her family. She loved to cook and all the family gatherings took place in her home. She loved to eat, and she looked forward to having her hair done once a week. She enjoyed taking rides in the evening with her husband Brownie, and spending time with her neighbors. She was an avid animal lover and took care of the family's pets.

Mrs. Brown will be remembered as having a keen mind and never forgetting anything. Her family always came first above herself. She cherished her grandchildren and they were the light of her life. Her loving and caring nature will continue to be felt and missed by her family and loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Raymond W. "Brownie" Brown; daughter, Debra Raye Brown; granddaughter, Annie Elisabeth Brown; brothers, Bobby, Harry, Jack Carpenter; sisters, Jane Melvin, Pauline Pepper, Donia Dodd.

She is survived by her sons, Stephen G. (Bobbie) Brown, Aubrey T (Gail) Brown; daughter, Tracy (Greg) Reed; 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren. Due to the recommendations imposed by the CDC and the State of Delaware concerning gatherings, services for Mrs. Brown will be private and by the immediate family only.
