Rachael N. Hudson, Felton, passed away on Jan. 9, 2023 at Bayhealth Sussex Campus, at the age of 29.  She is the daughter of Jeffery A. and Beth Hudson.

Rachael loved animals, and worked at the Salty Dog Grooming Salon in Rehoboth.  She graduated from Lake Forest High School in 2012.

Rachael was a vibrant young lady with a big heart who wasn’t afraid to speak her mind.  She loved spending time with her friends and family, and going to the beach. Rachael enjoyed running errands in her Jeep Wrangler and shopping with her Mom, Beth.

Rachael is predeceased by her grandparents, Henry Hudson, Lucille Williams, and George and Ena Von Goerres.

In addition to her parents, Jeff and Beth, Rachael is survived by her brothers, Jeffery "Colby", Joel, and Adam Hudson; her grandmother Charlotte Hudson; boyfriend, David Simonson; other extended family and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home, Inc to help defray funeral costs.

A funeral service will take place on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023 at the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home, Inc, 15522 S. DuPont Hwy, Harrington, DE at 11 AM.  A visitation will take place one hour prior, starting at 10 AM.
