FARMINGTON - Priscilla B. Coryell, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at home. She was 80 years old. She was born in Borger, Texas, the only child of the late Thomas J. and Grace Bradford.
Mrs. Coryell worked for over 40 years as a secretary for Hercules and ILC of Frederica. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing and making ceramics. She loved her ceramics, and even had her own kiln. She loved spending time in the mountains of West Virginia with her husband Leonard. She was a great supporter of everything her husband did, including a great backer for the Harrington Lions Club to which he belonged.
She will be remembered as a strong individual with a bubbly personality, but was not afraid to tell you like it was. She truly had a heart of gold, and will be truly missed.
Mrs. Coryell belonged to the National Secretary Association for over 40 years. She was also a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Harrington Senior Center, Harrington Historical Society, and Women of the Moose-Harrington. She was a past councilwoman of the Harrington City Council where she chaired the Personnel Committee. She enjoyed serving the citizens of Harrington through her time spent on the council.
She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Leonard Coryell of Farmington; seven step children and their families.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington. Friends may call two hours prior. Interment will be in Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.
