Penny Fisher

Penny A. Fisher, 59, Greenwood, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2025 at the Tidalhealth Nanticoke Hospital. She was the daughter of Donna and Roland Cohee, Sr.

Penny was a 1984 graduate of Lake Forest High School, where she played drums in the band.  After high school, Penny served in the U.S. Air Force for six years. She was an honorary Lady Mason of the Order of the Masonic Riders.

Penny was very artistic, enjoyed painting, and showing off her green thumb with gardening. She loved animals of all shapes and kinds. She enjoyed watching movies, TV, especially Blue Bloods and CSI: NY. Penny’s favorite actors included Tom Selleck and Shemar Moore.

Penny was reserved around people she didn’t know, but once she got to know you, she was funny and mischievous.  She will be missed dearly.

Penny is preceded in death by her daughter, Heather Fisher.

In addition to her parents, Penny is survived by her children, Lacey J. Fisher (Samayra Montijo) and Zachary J. Fisher; fiancée, Bryan Collison; grandchildren, Corbin Tolzman, Josslyn Fisher, Charla Rae Fisher; sister, Dawn Weaver (Dave); brother, Roland Cohee Jr (Carrie); and her dog, Luke.

A memorial service will be held privately at a later date.
