Pearl (Brittingham) Woodring, age 88, passed away December 22, 2013, from the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford.  Pearl was the daughter of the late Gillis and Anna Brittingham.  She was preceded in death by four brothers, Milton, Clayton, Bill, Clark; and three sisters, Trainie, Ruth, and Thelma.

Pearl attended Felton High School and was a Florida resident since 1962.  She spent the summers in Delaware for the last 25 years.  Pearl retired from Barnett Bank of Naples, FL in 1986.

Through out her life, Pearl enjoyed attending Blue Grass festivals and spending time in South Bethany Beach with her family and friends.

Mrs. Woodring was a member of the Camden/Wyoming Moose Lodge #203, lifetime member of the Eastern Shore Bluegrass Asoc., and a member of the Eastern Star Hollywood #150.

Pearl is survived by a daughter, S. Jean Van Dyke, and husband Dave of Newark, DE; son, Kenneth H. Pleasanton, and wife Pam of Kirby, West Virginia; sister, Doris, three grandchildren, Joan, Jimmie, and Jamie; 5 great grandchildren, Eric, Jamie, Shannon, Brandon, and Nicholas; two close nieces, Charlotte Ann Stubbs, and Marie Lewis; and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Pearl enjoyed the loving company of her long time companion, Albert F. Killen of Camden.

Funeral Service will be Friday, December 27, 2013, starting at 1 PM, at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington.  Visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be at the Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
