Norma “Fay” Bradley of Farmington, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2013, from the Milford Hospice Center, she was 79.  She was born to the late Emerson and Dorothy Langford.

Mrs. Bradley worked as a manager at Leggetts for many years until she retired to spend more time with her grandchildren.  She was active with the Farmington Fire Company Ladies Auxilliary where she joined in 1955 as a charter member.  She also belonged to the Harrington Ladies of the Moose, Bethel Church Historical Society, and the Harrington Senior Center.

Her favorite activities involved travelling, especially to Florida, and going on cruises.  She loved to play cards including her favorite game of solitaire.  Her family was her life, and she enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren.  She was outgoing, and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She will be sadly missed.

She is preceded in death by her brothers – Emerson Langford Jr., George B. Langford.

She is survived byher loving husband of 62 years, John “Jack” Bradley Jr. of Farmington; daughter, Donna Fay Carter of Harrington; son, John E. Bradley of Betterton, MD; brother, Harold Raleigh of Gainesville, Florida; sister in law, Lois “Dink” Langford of Farmington; 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.

Services will be Monday, August 5, 2013, at 1 PM, at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington.  A visitation for family and friends will be Sunday evening from 6 to 8 PM.  Interment will be at Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.
