Nancylee J Bowers

Nancylee Jean Bowers, 67, of Harrington, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Earl Franklin Taylor and Alice Taylor Barantas. Nancy previously worked as an analyst with Department of Defense Investigative Services. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her husband and grandchildren, watching movies and Jazzercise with “the girls”. She volunteered at Genesis Nursing home in Milford and the Harrington Fire Company. She was also an active member of Asbury United Methodist church, Harrington.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Lester Paul Bowers, daughter and son-in-law, Tammy Lynn and Gregory Dennis, grandchildren Nicholas Grimes, Anastasia Dennis, and Alexander Dennis, brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Mary Taylor and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 5pm-7pm at Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 S. DuPont Hwy., Harrington, DE. A Graveside Service will take place on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at 11:00AM at Chestertown Cemetery, 810 High Street, Chestertown, MD.
