Michael A. Trotta

Michael A. Trotta, of Harrington, passed away at Bayhealth Sussex Campus, on Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021, at the age of 67.  He was the son of the late Jean Marie and Jesse A. Trotta, Jr.

Michael worked many jobs over the years to include: a line worker at CT Film, Solo Cup, and a Code Inspector/Enforcer for the towns of Harrington and Milton.

Michael had a love of history, particularly the Civil War era of which he collected paraphernalia, Harrington town history, and his own family history.  He enjoyed deer hunting, collecting baseball cards, and spending time with his dogs, Roxy and Midnight. In his younger years Michael, and a group of friends, enjoyed attending baseball’s spring training for any team he could get tickets for, but his favorite team was the NY Yankees.

Michael is survived by his long-time companion, Nancy Fraizer; daughter, Margo Moyer (John); grandchildren, Karinne, Kallie, Kurt, Cael, and Kyra; extended family and friends.

Services for Michael will be on Thursday, Oct. 21, at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy, Harrington, at 1 PM.  A visitation for family and friends will start at 12 noon.  Interment will take place at the Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.
