Michael L. Crumpton

Michael L. Crumpton, of Felton, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026 at his home, at the age of 75. He was the son of Artie Lee Crumpton and the late Arthur L. Crumpton.

A kind and compassionate man, Michael deeply loved his family who he enjoyed taking care of. He enjoyed cooking Texas Barbeque, playing basketball, and watching the Dallas Cowboys. Michael was an avid reader, and enjoyed reading about history, cars, sports, and the news. He will be remembered as a very loving, caring, loyal and dependable family man, who prioritized his wife, children, and grandchildren above himself.

Michael retired from a career as an IT manager for General Electric and Tech Mahindra.  He was a hard worker, and always one that his colleagues could rely on.

In addition to his father, Michael is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Jacques Wassenberg, mother-in-law Mia Wassenberg and sister, Ernestine Ford.

In addition to his mother, Michael is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Marie-Jose Crumpton; children, Michael L. Crumpton (Emilie) and Brigitte Martinez (Daniel); grandchildren, Aurora, Zahara, and Savannah Crumpton, Alena and Javier Martinez; siblings, Arthur Crumpton, Andrew Crumpton, Zachary Crumpton, Frederick Crumpton, Gregory Crumpton, Linda Patillo, Connie Warner, and Jacqueline Weddington; brother-in-law, Paul Wassenberg; and a large extended family of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
