Mary Crawford

Mary M Crawford, 82 of Harrington passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Sunday, November 10, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Pilar and Paul Munoz.

Mary was a woman of strong faith that always had a smile on her face. She loved to socialize with others and spend time with family. In her free time, Mary played the guitar, enjoyed gardening, and was a fantastic cook who was well known for her fresh pepper sauce. She also enjoyed needlepoint, bingo, playing cards with family, and puzzles. But nothing gave her greater joy than the time spent with the generations of family that loved and adored her.

In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her beloved husband Frederick George Crawford; and granddaughters, Alyce Huntoon, and Marissa Monteverde.

She is survived by her children, Lyra Levins, Celeaste Crawford, Trayhe Crawford, Jesus Crawford, Paul Crawford, Paula Zirbel, Fortunado Crawford, Heather Say; 4 generations of grand to great great grandchildren for a total of 70 that adore her; and a large extended family.

Services will held at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 15, 2024 at the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home, 15522 S. DuPont Hwy. Harrington, DE 19952. A visitation will be held two hours prior from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Interment will be at Hollywood Cemetery immediately following the service.
