Marilyn 'Krickett' McIlroy, 64
HARRINGTON — Marilyn McIlroy passed away on May 24, 2012.
Born on January 2, 1948, Ms. McIlroy was a very unique, creative, loving mother and wife. Marilyn was well known for her artistic abilities in creating artwork based mainly on nature and the Native American life. She had a deep love of all things in nature which shone through in all of her artwork.
Her spirit has now rejoined the spirits of her parents, Nicholas J. Wilhelm, Gatha Mae Wilhelm and her beloved son, Kip C. McIlroy.
Still here to honor her memory are, her former husband of 44 years, Carl McIlroy; daughter, Dawn M. McIlroy; granddaughters, Brooke S. Pendry and Amber F. McIlroy; and her greatgrandchildren, Autumn S. McIlroy and Caiden R. Davis.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 4, 2012, at the Melvin Funeral Home. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m.
