Marie B Alexander

Marie B. Alexander, 96, Felton, passed away on June 30, 2024 at Caroline Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Clara Brown.

Mrs. Alexander worked for Peoples Life Insurance Company for 22 years and Felton Postal Service for 12 years.  She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Harrington, and attended the Nazarene Church of Sandtown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest B. Alexander; daughter, Sharon Alexander; three brothers, Irving, Charlie, and Franklin Brown; two sisters, Violetta Brown and Dorothy Baynard.

She is survived by her sons, David E. Alexander (Marilyn), Roger T. Alexander (Florence); daughter, Peggy Ely (Sam); four grandchildren, Laura Soule (Moseley), Kelly Williams (Jamin), Aaron Hoskins, and Jonathan Alexander; four great grandchildren, Trey Soule, Gavin Nutto, Kaylyn and Jaidien Strickland.

A funeral service will be held privately.

Arrangements are by the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home Inc, Harrington.
