HARRINGTON — Margaret J. Vicidomini passed away on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012 at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford.
Mrs. Vicidomini was a homemaker. She also worked as a bookkeeper for many years helping her husband with the family farm. Most recently, she enjoyed working at Capitol Cleaners in Harrington were she loved meeting and talking with people.
Mrs. Vicidomini was quite the philanthropist. She was a very giving person who would give you the shirt off of her back. She had a big heart and was often called, "The Peace Maker". She loved to paint in her spare time, horses and landscapes were her favorite subjects.
Her kind presence will forever be missed by her family and close friends. Mrs. Vicidomini was a member of the Republican Committee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Halzda and Virginia Halzpa-Petty; and son, Michael Vicidomini IV.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Michael Vicidomini Jr. of Harrington; sons, Larry Vicidomini of Harrington and Mark Vicidomini of Lewes; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Service will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to the St. Judes Hospital.
