Lonni J Pritchard, of Harrington, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2013, at his home. He was 57.
Mr. Pritchard attended Blackhawk East Jr. College where he was on the livestock judging team. He then finished his education at the Southern Illinois University where he received his BS and met his future wife, Charlotte. Locally, Mr. Pritchard helped coach Delaware 4-H and FFA students at livestock judging as well as officiate livestock judging at the Delaware State Fair.
Mr. Pritchard was an agriculture salesman. He used to work for Schiffs, but most recently with Williards Co. He enjoyed working and showing livestock, as well as golfing. He loved to watch his daughter Cheyanne in all her sporting events. He was a funny, outgoing person who was always smiling and having a good time. He was overjoyed when he finally became a grandpa and enjoyed spoiling his granddaughter. He will be sadly missed.
Mr. Pritchard was a member of the Farm Bureau.
He is preceded in death by his father, Harold Pritchard; wife, Charlotte M. Pritchard; daughter, Trisha Pritchard.
Survivors include daughter, Cheyanne Pritchard of Harrington; mother, Venita Pritchard of Geneseo, IL; brothers, Robbi Pritchard of Brookings, South Dakota, Joddi Pritchard of Harrington, Harli Pritchard of Geneseo, IL; sister, Lauri Pritchard of Geneseo, IL; grandchild, Harbor Marie Landry.
Visitation will take place Tuesday, November 26, from 6 to 8 pm, at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington. Interment will be at a later date in the family plot at Sugar Creek Cemetery in Glenarm, IL.
