Linda Richards

Linda I. Richards, Harrington, DE, formerly of Hudson, NY, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, December 23, 2019, she was 74.  Linda was born in Binghamton, NY to the late Roger and Jean Gilmore.

Linda was a school teacher for many years in Taconic Hills, NY.  She enjoyed being a teacher and mentoring her students.  After retirement, she and her husband Bill moved to Harrington, DE where they called home the past 15 years.  In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, quilting, and watching the Food Network Channel.  She will be remembered as a quiet person but always in charge.  She was truly a loving wife and mother and will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, William Richards; her children and spouses, Bill (Karine) Richards, Jennifer (James) Brady, Sarah (Kenneth) Rizzo; sisters, Lee Shurtleff, Nancy Zollo; brother, Dr. Roger Gilmore, 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
