Lester R. Minner Jr.

Lester R. Minner Jr. , age 66

Lester passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2013 in Smyrna, DE.  He was born in Milford, DE to the late Lester R. and Dorothy A Minner Sr.

Lester served his country proudly in the United States Navy.  He learned how to weld in the Navy, a skill that he used for most of his life.  He was a welder at Draper King Cole for many years, until he went to work for the Solo Cup Co.

When time allowed him, he enjoyed travelling.  His favorite hobby was collecting coins.  He thought the world of his daughter Amber, and he had a great deal of love for his entire family.

He is survived by his daughter Amber Minner of North Carolina; sisters, Ruth Morris (Thomas) of Felton, and Elizabeth "Libby" Butler (David) of Harrington.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Minner.

Services and burial will be private.
