L. Sherie Collison

Lois “Sherie” Collison, passed on Dec. 30, 2022 at Bayhealth Sussex Campus, at the age of 69.  She is the daughter of the late Kenneth Goldsbury and Lois Conrad.

Sherie was a home maker who loved her family and would tell them “love you with all my heart”. Sherie’s mother was her whole world, and she longed to see her again. She had a strong, fierce personality. She enjoyed crocheting, crafts, crosswords, and woodworking.  But her favorite activity was shopping at Walmart, often spending hours browsing the aisles.  Sherie loved Christmas, decorating the house, and won a couple of decorating contests in Harrington and Felton.

Sherie was a former member of the Harrington Moose Lodge, a member of the USBC bowling league, and attended Calvary Wesleyan Church.

Sherie is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Joseph Collison, Sr.; children, Christie Murphy (Ben), O. Joe Menard (Jennifer), Jason Menard, Ashley Collison (Candis), Joseph Collison, Jr. (Kathy); siblings, K. David Goldsbury, Randy Goldsbury, Robert Goldsbury, and Tammy Sosa; 12 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2023 at the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home, Inc., 15522 S. DuPont Hwy, Harrington DE at 12 Noon.  A visitation will take place one hour prior, starting at 11 AM.
