Karen Lynn Kasulke

d. September 23, 2024

Karen Lynn Kasulke (nee Jenkins), HARRINGTON, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024, at the Bayhealth-Sussex Campus, she was 54.  Karen was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, on August 25th, 1970.

Karen was a homemaker.  She enjoyed various types of crafting, one of her favorites was beading.  She was notorious for collecting ink pens wherever she went and had quite the collection.  Karen definitely loved her sci fi shows and was a self-proclaimed graduate of the Starfleet Academy.  She also enjoyed music, movies, and many British TV shows like Dr. Who.  She became accustomed to British Television when she lived in Great Britain in her younger days.  She also lived in Germany for three and a half years while her father was stationed there in the Air Force. After her father settled at Dover Air Force Base when she was 13, she graduated from Caesar Rodney High School, Class of 1989. Karen was a diehard fan of the Denver Broncos and the Baltimore Orioles.

Karen will be remembered as a loving, caring, devoted daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother.  No matter who she met, she was always kind and accepting of everybody. She never met someone she couldn’t call a friend and had many.  Karen loved her family and friends immensely and loved to spoil her grandchildren and her dogs, Isabella and Hershey.  She will be sadly missed.

She is preceded in death by her twin brother, Scott E. Jenkins.

In addition to her father Bruce E. Jenkins and stepmother, Adele C. Morris-Jenkins, she is survived by her husband, William D. Kasulke; children and their spouses, William T. Kramer II (Sarah E. Chapman), K. Amanda Farrell (Charles), K. Paige Seibert (Brian), James S. Kasulke, Jonathan D. Kasulke; grandchildren, Joey and Ashla.
