FELTON — Joyce S. Tribbett passed away Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012 at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital. She was born in Dover to the late Joshua B. and Grace B. Shahan.
Mrs. Tribbett was a hard worker all her life. She worked for various companies throughout the years including Richard and Robinson, King Cole, Swift Co., Perdue, and Libby McNeils. Mrs. Tribbett was an avid reader. She loved doing her puzzle books and reading her Bible everyday. She was always smiling and calling herself Angel. She was looking forward to becoming one of God’s angels. She will be truly missed.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Vernon and George Shahan; and sisters, Evelyn S. Cole, and Margaret Gourley.
She is survived by her loving Husband of 31 years, Norman Tribbett of Felton; sisters, Betty Blackburn of Felton, and Charlotte Hurd of Milford Center, Milford; nieces, Cindy Hammond of Felton, Tracie Gourley of Dover, and Janet Shaw of Dover. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 28, 2012 at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, with visitation on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Interment at Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
