Joyce Oliver

Joyce Oliver, passed away at home, surrounded by her family, on Friday, December 28, 2018, she was 74.  She was the daughter of the late, William Maloney and Roberta Shockley.

Joyce retired from the State of Delaware as a Center Director for the Division of Developmental Disabilities Services.

Joyce enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her great grandson, Mason.  She enjoyed reading and playing cards.

Joyce was a former long time member of the Harrington Women of the Moose.

In addition to her parents, Joyce is preceded by her beloved husband, James and sister, Sylvia Maloney.

Joyce is survived by her son, William “Bill” Oliver; daughter, Camela "Cammy" Wyatt (John Jr.); 3 grandchildren, Jamie, Jason and Michael Wyatt; 1 great grandson, Mason; step-mother, Henrietta Maloney; and sister, Ethel Alderson (Jack).

Services will take place at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy, Harrington, on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019 at 11 AM.  A visitation for family and friends will take place one hour prior to the service.  Interment will take place immediately after the funeral at the Delaware Veterans Cemetery, Millsboro.
