FELTON — Josephine Christiansen, of Felton, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital. She was 82.
Mrs. Christiansen retired in 1995 as a security guard for Kent County Levy Court. She started as a
custodian with Levy Court, and was later promoted to guard. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family. She loved going out to eat.
She will be remembered as a jolly, fun loving person who was very family oriented and cared very much for her family. She lived for the past 20 years with her son and was very helpful in taking care of the home. She will be sadly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Steven and Agnes Molta.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, James "Jim" and Lora Logan of Felton; daughter, Marion Slaughter of Magnolia; brother, Eddie Molta of New Jersey; three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-greatgrandchild.
Services will be 11 a.m., Monday, June 13, 2011, in Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, where a visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Milford Community Cemetery.
