Josephine Giuliano Allison, of Milford, past away on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 in Milford, DE. She was 80. She was the daughter of the late Sam and Jennie Giuliano and the late Assumption Giuliano.
Josephine Giuliano Allison, born and raised in Chicago, ventured east at the age of 19 to spend the next 60 years in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. After her husband Robert’s retirement they built their dream home in Slaughter Beach, Delaware right on the bay. From her window she could watch the sea and the wild life she so dearly loved. She witnessed nature in all its glory and wrath and was a staunch supporter of the Wild Life Federation.
She spent the majority of her time with her beloved animals, of which there were many, and with a good book in her hand or a cross-word puzzle. Sitting around the table with friends and family eating crabs with plenty of newspaper spread out was one of her biggest joys. She was a friend to many and loved by all.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Allison.
She is survived by her son, Gary H. and Sarah Allison of Chicago, IL and their children; Robert, Rachel and Garrett; daughter, Diane Jean Lemhan of Enola, PA, her daughter, Kimberly and her husband, Benjamin Eberts and their children; Mackenzie Miller and Ryan Eberts; her son, William McCloskey and his children; Stephin McCloskey, Anthony McCloskey and William McCloskey; her daughter; Michel Lemhan and her son Tyler Quackenbush; brother, Joseph Giuliano of West Haven, Connecticut; and sister, Marilyn (Giuliano) Lesak and her husband, Jerry of Winfeld, IL.
