Joseph J. Green

Joseph J. Green, 76, of Felton, DE passed away at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, March 8, 2025.

While Joe was a medic in the Vietnam War, when he returned home, he became an Operating Room Tech/male nurse in Easton Hospital. After that he went on to become a construction worker building homes.

In his free time, Joe enjoyed playing guitar, singing his heart out, and being around family and friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his long-time companion of 47 years, Connie Kohland.

He is survived by his daughter Tammy Kohland of Laurel, DE; two grandchildren, Jessica Elliott of Bridgeville, DE, and Jennifer Connor of Delmar, DE; 5 great grandchildren, Dylan, Vincent, Ryan, Valentina, and Alessa, who he loved dearly. In addition, he had two bonus grandchildren that he considered his own, Abrianna and John.

There are no services scheduled at this time for Mr. Green. Arrangements have been entrusted the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home, Inc, Harrington, DE.
