John “Jack” Guyette, Sr., of Felton, peacefully passed on Dec. 19, 2022, at the age of 77, at home with his wife by his side. He is the son of the late Franklin and Jane Guyette. Jack was a hard worker and very active. In addition to owning Guyette & Son, Corp truck repair for over 40 years, he was a leader in the EMS community in his home town.
When he wasn’t working, he was in his home shop, enjoying yard work, snow plowing in New Jersey and continuing his education.
He was a life member of the Hightstown First Aid Squad, as well as the Roosevelt First Aid Squad. He served as the Captain of the Hightstown First Aid Squad for many years and mentored many new members of the EMS.
He loved spending time with his grandchildren and RV traveling and they enjoyed many pranks with each other.
In addition to his parents, Jack is predeceased by his granddaughter, Ema Miller, and sister, Martha Guyette.
Jack is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Margaret “Peggy” Guyette; children, Kristine Miller (James), Yvonne Barrett (Chris), and Jack Guyette, Jr.; grandchildren, Samantha Lewis (Phil), Cassandra Stahl (Jason), Alex Stinson, James Miller, Jr., and Liz Wilds (Joe); 8 sisters, 1 brother, and a very large extended family.
